Our Story

Fisher Animal Hospital is a full-service hospital located in Florence, Alabama serving animals from Florence and all surrounding areas. We welcome patients in need of routine veterinary care, as well as emergency and urgent care during business hours. 

​We offer routine vaccinations, dental scaling and cleaning, ultrasound capabilities, echocardiogram and other cardiac testing, as well as some orthopedic procedures.

We have multiple doctors with varying years of experience and specialized interests in order to provide quality care for our patients regardless of the ailment. We strive to continue to grow and stay up to date with the latest developments in veterinary medicine.

Our quality of care, methods and standards qualify us as an accredited member of the American Animal Association (AAHA) and has done so for the past 60 years.

​In March 2020, we opened our brand new veterinary hospital located at 235 Cox Creek Parkway South Florence, Alabama 35630 to replace our previous location.  We are excited to be able to offer more efficient care and additional services at our new location.  Our new and improved boarding facility offers better and more comfortable boarding options for dogs and cats.  This has enabled us to open DIGS Daycare, an option for your furry babies that may need a little more entertainment while their parents are at work!
